What Women Want
I hope none of you forgot to greet and/or get something for that lady who had to live with stretch marks, excess weight and full bladder for 9 months just for you. After all, we would all not be here if not for those ladies in our lives… our mothers.
We didn’t forget.
In fact, our theme for this month was chosen with moms in mind. But, we went the extra mile and decided to include everyone — not only moms but also daughters, wives or sisters — whose wants we would like to indulge.

presents…

SP features Blanche Harris on Southern Byways. This woman for all seasons “is reported to be the oldest active barber in Texas.” This incredible woman does not stop at giving haircuts. She also feeds people and offers her ear to those who need someone to talk to.
Matt over at The Chicago Traveler has something for those who just want to party. No matter how busy you are, if you can’t go to the party of the century, Heels on Wheels will take the party to you!
The DC Traveler shows you a different kind of Shakespeare and Love in the Park. This version of Shakespeare’s Love’s Labor’s Lost is set in India in the 1960s. Jon’s featured play should make you go hmmm…
What is a modern Filipina mom? Grace of Filipina Soul shares to our readers from all around the world her observations.
EuropeString is the proud host of this month’s Travel and Culture Channel Theme Day with Something for the Ladies.
