Under the Tuscan Sun

by Melissa Atienza-Petri on July 15th, 2005

The town of Cortona in Italy, 100 miles north of Rome, will be hosting the 3rd annual Tuscan Sun Festival from the 5th until the 21s of August. This multi-faceted event will showcase concerts, art exhibits, food and wine tastings, lectures, yogas, massages and visits to ancient Roman baths.

Events are priced from 42-120€. There are, however, some events that are FREE of charge.

You can find the details here.

Am off to Tuscany myself. In a few hours, I will be enjoying myself under the Tuscan sun. That means, I will be away for a week and half. This brief hiatus would mean tons of blog fodder. Upon my return, I will be posting several travel budget ideas for the towns of Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca and Chianti.

Ciao!

I loved Italy. It’s my favorite country and general chill zone. I think I liked the laid back atmosphere without the constant worry of violent crime as in places like Mexico. How did yoou come to live over there? I’m curious. Take care and ciao!

Oh no, I live in Frankfurt, Germany. I just went to Tuscany for the summer.
