Turkish Bath for the Men
The hamam (also spelled as hammam in Arabic) is the steam bath variant in Turkey. It involves relaxing in a room where hot dry air is allowed to continuously flow to allow bathers to perspire freely. If you can take it, you can leave this warm room and head for the hot room where it is, obviously, even hotter.
You can also get a massage and a full body wash. And for a slow transition to the “normal conditions”, you get to relax at the cooling room.
This experience is something that you would not want to miss, should you visit Turkey.
It will cost you approximately 20Euros, if you have it in Turkey. It will cost around £40-60 if you get your bath in London.

I know it’s not for me lol… but the “cooling room” sounded like the best part of the deal. But trying something new while traveling is always fun. :)

I did the Turkish bath/massage in Turkey-but we did one of the few coed ones. Yeah, it’s definitely a must if you go because it’s a great value and very relaxing and good for you!
But I prefered the baths in Budapest, Hungary and I went to a couple. One was all male and the other was coed. If your a straight male I definitely recommend the coed ones. The traditional all male bath in Hungary was awkward, to me anyways.
