Travel to Milan, Italy

by Melissa Atienza-Petri on May 24th, 2005

There are lots of things that you can do in Milan. Peruse these pages to get an idea of what you can do and see while in the Fashion Capital of the World.

However, for those would want to know–first hand–the town a little better, I have 3 budget options for you.

GOOD OPTION

Hop on the Tram Turistico, a restored tramcar, and tour around Milan. It costs around 20Euro for a tour that takes about an hour and a half. Travellers are provided a headset on board, available in several languages. The tram route includes going past the Duomo, Scala, Santa Maria della Grazie, among other sites.

CHEAPER OPTION

Take the Tram #29/30; it’s route will take you to all the places worth seeing. For around 2Euro one-way, it is quite a steal. Just arm yourself with information and you are all set.

CHEAPEST OPTION EVER
Walk!
