The Chance to Live like Paris Hilton for a Day
I am not talking about partying or living in a mansion ala Paris Hilton. Nor am I talking about getting that Simple Life experience. Instead, the suggestion here at Europestring is for you, dear Budget travelers, to try how it is to live life in prison.
Yup, you can be a jailbait (just like Paris Hilton some days ago before she got that special VIP treatment to serve her sentence at home) at the Karosta Prison in Latvia.
This suggestion, of course, only applies to thrill seekers/budget travelers who do not mind getting shoved around and yelled at by “fake” guards who like to pretend that they are in a Soviet prison. Oh yea, as an added bonus, you get to scrub toilets too.
Accommodations include cold water in your cell and a WC ala Soviet prison toilet – 5 Lats per person, per night. That’s only ca. 7euros per person, per night!
You want the full experience? Add 2Lats more per person and you get to be treated really bad and can experience harsh prison night conditions.
