Europe String

The Armchair Diplomat

by Melissa Atienza-Petri on October 6th, 2005

If you want to do a bit of armchair traveling before you book that ticket; Or, you want Eurocratese in plain English that normal people can understand; Or, if you’re a foreigner in Europe (like me) who badly wants to have everything explained plainly then this book is for you!

The Armchair Diplomat on Europe by Melissa Rossi

You get insights into European culture - why they behave the way they do, why things are run the way they are being run and some history which made me nod and exclaim “so that’s why!” several times. Everything is explained simply and you wouldn’t even have to fall asleep like you did whenever you read about history. It’s informative, funny and… well, just go get the book and read it!

Like what the backcover says, “it’s perfect for slackers with a passion for travel”.

With 5 being the highest, I give this book 10 stars!!!

Please excuse the exessive use of exclamation points. Ueberly excited, I am.
