To pamper yourself a bit (to offset the awful icky toilet experience), bring with you a collection of beauty products. This could even help start off or end your day right, despite the not-so-great condition of your hostel.

And no, it need not be expensive. In fact, you need not even spend a dime for them!

Go to your local mall and seek out shops where toiletries, make-ups and perfumes are being sold. Normally, they add several sachets of beauty products in customers’ bags at the counter. Wait until the counter is not so busy, explain your situation to the salesperson or the cashier nicely. And I am sure, they would be more than willing to give you a couple of sachets for your trip.

And the good thing about sachets is that it’s light and small plus, you can just throw it away after you have used its contents.
