Prince William back with Kate Middleton
If this news was good enough for CNN to place on its front page then, it’s good enough for Europestring.
What has this have to do with budget travel in Europe? The Royal Family, of course. Unfortunately, getting an audience with the Pope is a lot easier than seeing the Royal Family in the flesh. Well, at least, you can get to watch the Changing of the Guard at one of the royal residences, the Buckingham Palace for FREE.
Just make sure you get there at 11:30am. It happens daily from April until the end of July and every other day of the rest of the year.
And while you are there, you might as well visit all the other FREE attractions in London: The British Museum, the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Tate Modern, Natural History Museum and Science Museum.

We took two not overly impressed teens to the National Gallery a few years ago and by the end of the afternoon, they were discussing the “coolest” of all the artists they had seen. THEY ENJOYED THE DAY!! In October, it’s the Portrait Gallery and probably the History Museum. You don’t find FREE very much anymore!
