I love to read. And reading has always been part of my travel plans. I read the lonely planet on a shoestring series of books, in addition to whatever information I can find online. Should you, like me, like to read about your chosen destination before your trip, you may want to check out Packed Magazine.

Packed magazine is Europe’s FREE travel magazine for backpackers, independent- & budget travellers.

I just discovered Packed last week at a bar here in Frankfurt. Believe me, there are tons of information you can get from this magazine. Valuable information for backpackers are packed (of course!) inside each issue.

Packed is normally distributed all over Europe for free. You can get your hands on one, though, without having to scour the bars and restaurants of Europe. Just download (each released issue) here.
