In Nuremberg, marriage is a merry-go-round

The city of Nuremberg, Germany, is full of great fountains, but the most entertaining one has to be the Ehekarussell, or Marriage Carousel. This giant fountain depicts various scenes from a “bitter-sweet married life” as described in a poem by Hans Sachs. I had a hard time finding any “sweet” scenes…

I saw this while on vacation in Nuremberg. I took a photo of the happy young couple, the couple with children in the swan, the goat, the bear catching fish & the couple fighting beyond the grave. I missed this one completely. Thank you!
This does explain why she is so angry in the last scene.
