Greetings!
Hello, my name is Jacy Meyer and I’ll be your new Europe String blogger. I’m so excited to get started, “meet” you and share information on how anyone can make a trip to Europe affordable and enjoyable!
My husband and I relocated to Prague, Czech Republic from the US in 2004. We chose Prague for its central European location, because we thought we could get jobs, and because neither of us had been here before. Which more or less sums up our travel philosophy: we can get there, we can afford it, and we’ve never been there! I’m a freelance writer here, writing for a number of local publications on everything from the city to culture and events to expat life to health to education to whatever anyone asks me to write.
My goal for this blog is simple: I want it to be the best darn budget European travel blog out there, so I welcome your comments and suggestions. Happy Travels!

Hey Jacy, welcome to the channel! That’s fantastic that you live in Prague, for sure one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Certainly one of my absolute favorites.
I am an American who recently relocated to Amsterdam. Anyways, I look forward to reading your take on European travel!
