Goodbye from Melissa Petri
Even after 8 years of living in this continent, I still have not lost the feeling of excitement every time I visit a new European City. I still feel like a tourist even as I visit places which I have already seen. After all, I have always believed that there will always be something new to discover no matter how often you have visited one place.
Europe is my second home. Even when I finally leave this continent (in a couple of years), it will always have a special place in my heart… just as EuropeString will always be my most loved travel blog. Unlike other travel blogs, Europestring has allowed me to share my experiences the way I want to share them. This has MY signature as a traveler and as a blogger.
However, due to added responsibilities (which equals to an even heavier travel schedule) at work, I cannot afford to keep blogging for EuropeString anymore. If I force it (as what I have been doing for the past 3 months), my 2 kids and/or Europestring will suffer.
MJ — our wonderful travel channel editor — is on the lookout for a new blogger here at EuropeString. If you travel a lot and would like to share your experience on this blog, let her know. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she finds someone who loves to blog and really does travel a lot. Yes, I am travel blog snob.
Until she finds a new replacement, I will try to keep this blog company from time to time.
Goodbye to all of you. It has been great.

You will be missed, even by the newer members of T&C like myself. Good luck in the future!

Sorry to see you go. I’ll try to fill some of the gap with my website but it will be hard.
