FREE Bicycles in Paris This Summer
Paris City Hall has contracted JCDecaux Somupi to have 14,100 bikes in place by summer. These bikes will be used for the city of Paris’ free bicycle hire service.
In order to borrow a bike for free, you need to pay an annual registration fee of about $6.47 (or 5 Euros). This would give you the right to borrow the bicycle for free for the first 30 minutes. After which, you need to pay 1 euro per hour of use.
Okay, okay, it’s not really Free. But, hey, it’s still a cheaper and healthier alternative.
