Copenhagen Freebies

by Melissa Atienza-Petri on May 1st, 2007

CopenhagenThe Little Mermaid and Carlsberg may be the main attraction for many tourists in Copenhagen but the capital of Denmark has many other cultural and entertaining attractions to offer. Some of which can be enjoyed for FREE.

You can…

  • Schedule your museum visit on a Wednesday as most museums offer FREE entrance on this day.
  • Some museums have actually completely abolished entrance fees. So you can go there any day. Top museums with free entrance include the National Museum and the National Gallery.
  • Check out the open air movie houses (FriFilm) in parks for FREE showing of quality movies. Of course, only every summer.
  • Or, you can just hang out at Tivoli park and enjoy the strangely beautiful weather we are currently having on this side of the equator.
