Budget Tours for Art Lovers
There is no better place to start an art lover’s tour than in Europe. Whichever class, form, genre, medium or style you may want to see, there is definitely no limit. Now, if you think that your budget will prevent you from taking an art lover’s tour, think again. There are ways around to it.
Here are just a couple of examples…
At the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, visit on a Wednesday so you only pay 3.50Euros (from 6Euros).
In Cyprus, Europeans can enter museums for FREE every Sunday.
In Rome, many big museums are FREE every last Sunday of the month.
The National Gallery of Ireland offers Free Public Tours on the following days: Saturdays at 3pm, Sundays at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. And this month, they even have daily tours at 3pm.
Entrance to the National Museum of Prague is free every first Monday of the month.
Another option is to get a European City Card, it “offer travellers free admission or discounts to museums and attractions, as well as restaurants, shops and on public transportation.”
