Budget European travel links for 2-Feb-2008
- Brave New Traveler’s helpful suggestions for hooking up at a hostel (the “where”, not the “how”).
- Arthur Frommer tells us about some cheap flights to Rome.
- Dutch airline KLM goes tragically hip with their latest online promotional campaign Stop the Hassle. Some amusing stuff, plus a chance to win free travel, which is always fun.
- And in case you’re still looking for a place to watch that big game, several cities have been added since I originally posted about where to watch the Super Bowl live in Europe.

I just read the Brave New Traveler’s post… now THAT’S something to write home about! ha!
I’ve actually slept (and slept ONLY) in a youth hostel, but perhaps because I don’t drink alcohol, I never had to worry about where to do the dirty deed while there.
Perhaps you could have a contest? “The craziest place you ever — um, you know — in Europe”. Hey, I freely admit that I’d be hooked!

LOL, Angelique - that’s quite an idea! But since this is a budget travel blog, it’d have to be limited to affordable hook-up spots. No trysts at the Ritz Carlton stories (unless you snuck in for free!). :)

“Sex on a Budget”.
Or you could write a post called “Hostel Sex”. Now THAT could garner some responses, but not the type you’re looking for, I’m sure.
(Did someone say “Dominatrix?”)
