by Melissa Atienza-Petri on March 31st, 2007

Backpacker’s Paradise in Berlin is very much like the Tent in Munich. They offer very cheap accommodations to budget travelers.

Open from the 1st of June until the 31st of August, Backpacker’s Paradise also offers collective tent stay or camp beds.

Where: Ziekowstr. 161 (corner of Waidmansluster Damm). Take the U6 or S25 to Alt-Tegel.

What to expect: A big tent that functions like a dormitory.

How much: Floor in accommodations cost 8Euro per person, includes blanket and sleeping bags. For those who would rather lie in beds, it costs 9.50Euros, including blanket.

Facitilies available: cooking facilities, toilet & bath, washing machine & dryers, lockers (bring your own lock), internet terminals and a cafeteria.
