Home in Germany
Greetings from my new home of Munich! OK, so I’m not actually in my home home, since it’s going to take several weeks before they hook up the internet there… but other than that, this city already has me wrapped around its finger. There’s a bit of snow on the ground here and there, it’s super cold out, and the people are as warm and friendly as ever. I’m really happy to be living here. I’ll be even happier when the movers deliver our belongings next week and I get to stop sleeping on an air mattress.
As for the Air France / Charles de Gaul connection I was a little apprehensive about… I’ll spare you the boring, tired, jetlagged details, but let’s just say that they definitely blew their last chance with me. And Charles de Gaul has the worst food selection I’ve ever seen at an airport (but at least our sandwiches and Perrier were comped – a gift from Air France for our inconvenience).
