Zurich’s main shopping street (Bahnhofstrasse) gets decked out for Christmas each December, and since 2005, the lights above the street have been disappointing locals and tourists alike. The LED display just isn’t festive enough, they complain. It’s such an eyesore that the powers that be are considering ditching the expensive lights by next year.
