The cost of food can easily wreck your travel budget. There are ways to save and keep our food budget to a minimum while traveling however, there are also times when you just want to have at least one great meal which could complete your European experience.
If so, splurge (cost is relative!) on a meal or two.
And if you do, keep in mind that:

You should do so at lunch, instead of dinner. Lunch in expensive restaurants are cheaper.

Quaint and beautiful Slovenia is perfect for budget travelers. It’s safe, interesting and inexpensive (cost is rising, though, but is still relatively cheap, in comparison to its western neighbors).
HOW TO GET THERE: Ljubljana, the capital, is the gateway to Slovenia if you want to fly. Budget airlines that fly to Slovenia are WizzAir and easyJet although, they only fly from London and Brussels. You can also fly to Vienna or Zagreb and just take the train to Slovenia.

Many have opined that Priceline is one of the best (if not “the” best) way to get a great travel deal online.
It is, if you know what you are looking for and if you are lucky. If not, you may have to pay more for what you could have had for less. Tricky, eh?

There are 4 “London” Airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted. Interestingly, none of which are really located in London. Heathrow is in Middlesex, Gatwick is in Sussex, Luton is in Bedfordshire and Standsted is in Essex.
So when you arrive, you need to figure out a way to get to London from those places.

There’s more to Belgium than Brussels. If you plan on traveling around the country, do so in the weekend. Why? Because it’s 50% OFF!

Hoxton Hotel, a newly opened luxury-budget hotel located in central London, which opened last week is offering hotel stays for only £1 per night, light breakfast (small carton of orange juice, banana and yoghurt) included.
Founder Sinclair Beecham plans to offer 600 nights for this price. After which, the price will go back to “normal” which is still relatively cheap as they are offering the easyJet style of pricing. Great, eh?
