Head for the countryside
We’ve all heard about heading East of Europe to find the best bargains. However, should your itinerary only include the obvious places to visit (like Paris) in Western Europe, then your only other option would be to head for the countryside once you are finished rubbing elbows with thousands of other tourists in the city.
You’ll be surprised at the difference in prices (of food, accommodations) when you compare the city to the countryside. Not only will you be able to save money but you will also be able to experience the real culture as you are faced with more locals than fellow tourists.
